A hardy evergreen shrub that has dark green leaves with clusters of red flowers. Produces a heavy crop of bright green fruit in Autumn which are known as the pineapple guava, a delicious and sweet fruit that can be used in a variety of ways or eaten fresh from the tree.
A great hedging or screening plant that prefers a sunny position with well drained soil. Keep moist through the hotter summer periods.
